| The Foundation for Lincoln
Public Schools provides new and expanded opportunities for
Lincoln students, recognizes excellent teachers, staff and
students, and builds strong, supportive relationships between
the community and our schools. Since our founding in 1989,
generous donors have provided more than $24 million to Lincoln
students and schools through the Foundation.
The Foundation is managed by a professional staff with the
guidance of an active, involved Board of Directors and Board
of Trustees. We work with donors who wish to establish or enhance
programs through one-time gifts, annual pledges, lifetime gifts
or legacy gifts. The Foundation received the 2006 Integrity
Award from the Lincoln Better Business Bureau in recognition
of our high standards of service and accountability. Our Fund-A-Need
program and Community Learning Centers have both been recognized
nationally as model programs. |
