Awards that Recognize Outstanding Educators
Nominations for all Educator Awards open on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. Nominations will be open until Friday, February 28th, 2025.

Eligibility: Any Brownell, Elliott, Meadow Lane, Prescott, and Pyrtle Elementary school teachers.

Eligibility: Any LPS middle school educators

Eligibility: Any certified or licensed nurse at LPS.

Eligibility: LPS reading teacher (at least one course at the secondary level).

Eligibility: Any certified or licensed LPS educator who has made a significant contribution to students' lives by promoting health and physical fitness.

Eligibility: Any LPS employee who has been an innovative leader and made a significant contribution to fostering understanding of our multicultural society.

Eligibility: Teachers at Sheridan Elementary, Irving Middle or Lincoln High schools.

Eligibility: Any current principal or emerging leader in LPS.

Eligibility: Any educator at Southeast High School.

Eligibility: Any LPS music teacher who has taught at LPS for 5+ years.

Eligibility: Any LPS mathematics educator.

Eligibility: Any current or soon-to-be LPS counselors.

Eligibility: Any LPS teacher or coordinator demonstrating outstanding leadership or potential for leadership.

Eligibility: Any certified LPS early childhood educator.

Eligibility: Any LPS educator who strives to find creative ways to incorporate financial literacy in their classroom.

Eligibility: Any Special Education teacher within Lincoln Public Schools who demonstrates excellence in special education teaching and works toward continuous improvement in student achievement and development.
