Our staff inspire award goes to Kaleah Latenser who supports not only our students but our staff.
She is an amazing support to students. She builds relationships well with all students and gets to know each and every one of them. Kaleah provides constant encouragement to our kids and helps them learn how to create change, even when it is hard. She does a great job of balancing grace, accountability, and re-teaching of expectations. She consistently shares that students don't have to be perfect, but they are expected to do hard things and to never give up on themselves.
She also has collaborated with staff to help problem solve and support students. She works with therapists and teachers to brainstorm how to hold students accountable as well as have a restorative conversation for moving forward. She is always willing to step in when extra support is needed.
Kaleah’s positivity and hard work has been an integral part of our student and staff success.
