Lisa Halvorsen is one of the most genuine, caring, unselfish people out there. She gives her full attention to whatever or whoever is asking something from her. She is a quiet leader that stands firm on her principles. She advocates for students, teachers, and families. Her moral compass comes from looking at each student as an individual that has the potential for personal growth and greatness. She is a true friend that will bend over backward to support or make someone's life a little easier. She is always looking to improve on how she operates in the school and what works best to support our Pound Community. She is a district leader in how she transitions students to high school. She takes time to make sure students feel comfortable and supported. When students, co-workers, or families come to her, they are fully supported and heard. We are incredibly lucky to have her as a Counselor at Pound as she inspires so many of us!
