Tracy Owens

We would like to nominate Tracy Owens for the Inspire Award. Tracy goes above and beyond for students and staff and never expects anything in return. While a staff member was out on maternity leave for the first quarter, she volunteered to cover as the Tech Leader and handle student Chromebooks. She is so positive with students, and works hard to make media fun and exciting. When a student struggles, she goes out of her way to repair the relationship, and never expects the classroom teacher to "handle it." Tracy gives just as much to our staff, and is a key member of our Sunshine Committee to help plan fun events to encourage our staff in the great work they do. She also serves as our PTO liaison, and does a great job communicating between staff and our PTO for events, supplies, and other things. Tracy invests in all areas of our school, with our students, staff, and families, and we're grateful for the impact she makes!
