Laura Helmstadter
Arts and Humanities Focus Program
12th Grade
Laura Helmstadter is a senior at the Arts and Humanities Focus Program. She is being recognized for the maturity she has shown and the kindness she practices.
For the past four years, Laura has worked hard to be successful and has overcome many challenges. Teachers at A&H have noted her profound sense of justice, concerning herself with the well-being of others. She has a good sense of humor and exhibits concern and caring for her peers.
Laura (Lala) has shown strength and resilience in her time here as a student and in her life outside of school. She is invested in her work, passionate about justice, and encourages others to join her. She is a deeply caring individual that supports her community and this can be seen in her work as a leader with student council and her willingness to lead our C.A.R.E. awards. She attends every A&H event she can and encourages others to do so as well.
We are honored to have Laura represent our program and model the leadership qualities associated with the Inspire Award.
