Maggie takes a lead role at Arts to ensure school runs smoothly. She is always on the top of her game. Having been in her room to visit and to substitute, I can tell there is never a minute of time where her students are not actively engaged. In speaking with her, I realize she spends countless hours over her summer months preparing for the coming year. Her work is noticed districtwide as I run into teacher leaders in the art department. Maggie pays close attention to the decisions regarding school logistics and provides timely authentic feedback. Because she speaks from the heart, you can always tell her best intentions are student focused.
