Mary goes above and beyond to help out wherever it is needed at Lefler, as well as finds ways to build our "community of learners." This year Mary helped to organize an activity where every staff member and student planted a bulb in our school garden (which will bloom come spring) ...a message of hope and positivity in a challenging year! She also organized a vocabulary competition for our student body, volunteers to work with students who need extra help in our support center, working with students after school in Homework Zone, and is always willing to help cover class when needed (which was incredibly important this year).
