Micala is our staff member who leads in a quiet and humble manner. She is willing to take on positions that allow her to grow professionally through the district and then brings the information back to the building to share with others. Her desire to continually be better is evident in her classroom. Her ability to build relationships with parents and students allows her to establish trust to help students succeed to their highest abilities. Micala has a very inclusive classroom and supports students who have unique needs to be engaged and included with their peers. She goes above and beyond to make sure students have what they need to be able to learn to their highest levels. She is a team member who looks out after those staff members she works with and has been a valuable mentor to new teachers. Micala's professionalism is second to none!
