Whenever you walk past the 5th grade classrooms, Cody is always doing his job. He follows directions and redirects the first time. He is a student who wants himself, as well as others, to do well. Cody shows support to his fellow classmates and grade level peers; always offering help with academics or positive advice. Cody has taken his academics to another level; he continues to put a great deal of effort into demonstrating classroom expectations by staying focused on the tasks at hand. Cody demonstrates leadership by accepting criticism and feedback from others even when it may be a difficult topic of discussion. He encourages other peers to achieve their best and to keep the classroom sacred. Cody has maintained growth in keeping himself and others safe by talking through his frustrations with staff members. Cody shows 5 effort every day. He is always doing what he is supposed to do. He has stepped it up with being a leader in the classroom.
