Meagan is the foundation of building positive relationships with students, families and staff. She welcomes every student to her classroom and through the positive relationships she builds inspires students to believe in themselves as students, helps them develop their own strengths and teaches them that it is okay to be themselves--all while teaching Math! Meagan facilitates student council. Together, with determined students, they plan fun school wide events and take the time to establish a community where all students may feel connected and proud of their school. Finally, Meagan organizes the Irving Food Pantry in conjunction with the food bank each month. This has become a necessary service for many of our Irving students and their families. Although it is a lot of work, Meagan embraces this as she goes above and beyond for all of us in the Irving community.
