During the past year and a half, we have all had to find a way of doing things differently. That is no different for our custodial staff. Our head custodian, Nick Thomas, has risen to that challenge and is always doing what is asked of him without a complaint. We will ask him to do many things and his response is always something like, "On my way. I'm on it. Not a problem."
Not only does Nick have a positive outlook at school, he has also had to train his entire night crew. Over the past year, all of his night crew is new. He has shown great leadership and guidance to our new staff members.
We all have things outside our work life, but Nick has taken on more than most. His nephew was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Nick and his wife opened the doors to his home and welcomed his nephew in and has cared for him during this difficult time.
No matter the challenges, Nick Thomas has shown amazing kindness and character. He is Randolph's Pride!
