Kennedy has been working with our ELL team for 2 years. She has worked extremely hard to help build a positive community amongst the ELL teachers and students. She has been shown great initiative with the influx of ELL students we have gotten this year. She works tirelessly to make sure their schedules are appropriate and cater to each students needs. She is part of the ELL Steering Committee for the Lincoln Public Schools District and has immersed herself as part of the MTSS-A team this year at North Star. She always focuses on what is best for all students and as part of that has helped her team create strategies in which all teachers can use to help all students. Kennedy is also in charge of our International Day. Kennedy goes above and beyond to help any colleague or student who might be struggling with the English Language or just need someone to talk to. Kennedy is inspiring us all to lead and learn with compassion.
